Senior User Experience (UX) Designer

Paradigm is seeking a Senior User Experience (UX) Designer to support the design department of our client’s global organization.

In this role, the Senior UX Designer will apply the highest level of user experience subject matter expertise to solve a variety of common business and user issues across multiple product platforms.

Type: Direct hire, full-time
Location: Boise, ID (flex with expectation for on-site as required/allowed)

In this role, the Senior UX Designer will:

* Manage relationships with internal and outsourced partners on user experience design and development
* Review and evaluate designs for alignment with overall product architecture; recommend changes to designs and technology to improve product quality and overall user experience
* Evaluate designs and project activities for compliance with user experience design and development guidelines and standards
* Provides feedback to improve product quality and user experience
* Provide user experience design leadership to cross-organization projects, programs, and activities
* Drive innovation and integration of new technologies and design language into projects and activities in the user experience design organization
* Provides mentoring to staff members

Requirements

Our skills and experience wish list includes:

* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, Human Factors Engineering, Social Sciences research, Cognitive Science or equivalent.
* 6-10 years relevant work experience
* Experience with application of design theories, principles, and concepts
* Ability to apply analytical and problem-solving skills across organization-wide architectures
* Understanding and experience in implementing and creating research and data collection plans for user experience testing and acceptance
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to communicate user experience data, design proposals and product specifications and negotiate options
