This is a Full-time position in Cary, NC posted January 4, 2022.
Major office equipment manufacturer seeks Mechanical Designer.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Generate complex detail drawings from engineering supplied information
- Prepare design layouts of electronic and/or mechanical designs from minimum information
- Make routine engineering computations, prepare specification and make adjustments in drawings or specs
Job Requirements:
SKILLS:
- Familiarity with Computer Aided Design (CAD).
- Working knowledge of SDRC I-deas (preferred), CREO or other 3-D CAD systems
- Familiarity with manufacturing and assembly problems, manufacturing techniques, reliability and maintain ability considerations
EXPERIENCE:
- Preferred: 2 yrs. With 500 hours SDRC I-deas
EDUCATION:
- Minimum: AAS
