LEAD UI/ UX DESIGNER
– 100% REMOTE

An industry leading life sciences company is looking for a Lead UI/UX Designer to assist with their multi-million dollar web application project called Connect.

Connect is a platform that allows for users to take data from their scientific instruments in the cloud and analyze it.

This person will be responsible for the design ideation, vision, and roadmap for this web application.

While this role sits 100% remote, this candidate MUST be open to working PST hours.

LEAD UI/ UX DESIGNER REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to provide design portfolio
7+ years of experience as UI/ UX Designer
Experience leading UX/UI design and strategy
Adobe Creative Suite experience
Figma experience
Sketch experience
Experience designing for applications/software with various functionalities
Experience building concepts and formulating them into designs

LEAD UI/ UX DESIGNER RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead the ideation of designs for the business unit
Working with page layouts and following style guides
Visualize, design and conceptualize user experiences.

This includes information design hierarchy, process/screen flows, concept sketches, annotated wireframes, interactive prototypes, high fidelity visual mockups and optimized graphics production.
Communicate design strategy, rationale, and perspective and present design concepts.
work closely with project leads to meet business expectations and requirements, customer needs and schedule constraints.
Working interdependently with other team members on key initiatives to ensure that the creative execution maintains a strong, consistent look and feel.
Collaborate cross-functionally with globally located research, engineering, marketing, product management and other internal organizations.
