The Greenhouse Designer has a successful proven track record of designing functional and comprehensive greenhouses, along with moving opportunities through the sales process.
The Greenhouse Designer will create and maintain trusting relationships with customers and influencers with the greenhouse industry.
They will work closely with the Inside Sales Representatives and Territory Sales Managers to help design, quote, and present a comprehensive functional greenhouse within the customer’s parameters.

Minimum of bachelor’s degree (or equivalent from four-year college or 4 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience).
Extensive knowledge and understanding of greenhouse and growing operations.
Knowledge of Order Processing Systems and Microsoft Office Software.
Closing ability to hit and exceed sales goals.
Able to work within a team environment with project managers and engineers.
Effective multi-tasker, capable to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to identify and present accordingly to all levels of the sales cycle.
Thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance
instructions, procedure manuals, and instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees in the organization.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Responsibilities
Coordinates sales efforts with team members and other departments.
Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships
Create and deliver presentations tailored to the customer’s needs.
Be an expert within the modern commercial greenhouse industry.
Fielding initial inquiries from prospective customers interested in purchasing and/or learning more about Commercial Greenhouse Systems and related equipment.
Create orders for Commercial Greenhouse Systems that include all necessary accessories.
Assist in occasional training and on-boarding of new products with greenhouse team members.

Compensation
With our base plus weekly commission structure, our average first year Territory Sales Manager earns between $45,000 -60,000.
Our team members in their second year and beyond can earn over $100,000 + annually.
