Front-End Web Designer

This is a Contract position in Southlake, TX posted November 7, 2021.

Liberty Software is a healthcare technology company that develops software for retail pharmacies across the country. Our pharmacy management platform helps our clients increase profits, improve customer service, and enhance patient safety. We are seeking a knowledgeable professional with high performance web development experience and a heart for service to join us as Front-End Web Designer.

The Front-End Web Designer will work on projects to implement new websites and assist the marketing and sales departments. These projects will require skills predominantly in HTML, JavaScript, CSS with an emphasis on front-end development.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement websites
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to produce content
  • Write appropriate web code to ensure optimal web page functionality and design
  • User interface testing to address browser and device compatibility
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve performance issues at the code and UI layers
  • Participate with internal departments in requirements gathering, analysis, and specification, providing technical expertise and recommendations
  • Follow proper source control and change management practices

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field and at least three years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of and experience with multiple web frameworks
  • Excellent knowledge of HTML, CSS, PHP, and JavaScript
  • Outstanding web user interface design skills, including responsive web design
  • Experience with version control and build management tools
  • Ability to gather, analyze and translate user requirements into functioning software
  • Ability to perform testing of applications, facilitate testing by others, and document results
