Civil Designer-Land Development

Our client is a leading, 30+ year civil engineering and project management services firm located in Houston.

As a Civil Designer your responsibilities will include: producing and creating civil land / site development and public infrastructure drawings; creating plan and profile drawings to include storm, water and sanitary lines; designing underground structures and flowlines associated with infrastructure; reviewing and maintaining CAD files; prioritizing and delivering on multiple projects; meeting project deadlines; coordinating the completion timeline for large scale projects that may include drainage, infrastructure and grading entities; working with PEs to ensure budgets are kept and clients are satisfied; meeting requirements for city, and county to ensure code compliance, and standards; archiving drawings; maintaining records; assisting with site visits and more.

Key Civil Designer candidate qualifications:
Current Civil Designer / CAD experience (Civil 3D) with residential land, multi-family and /or site development design projects with a Texas consulting engineering firm Direct knowledge of the civil design criteria for the City of Houston, Harris County and/or surrounding municipalities
