Description: Job Summary: Responsible for maintaining and setting up all Audio Visual equipment throughout the location.

In addition the AV Technician will respond to requests for assistance when problems arise with any piece of AV equipment.

Stay abreast of the latest technology in the AV area in order to assure that the location maintains the finest equipment possible.Essential Tasks & Responsibilities:Provide professional and customer focused service to all guests of the center.Ensures all equipment is teach-ready including: Set up of all AV Equipment each day for the different training and business classes, insuring that the equipment is functioning properly.Responds to any request for changes or additions in AV equipment.Greets each instructor or presenter answering any questions they may have on how to operate their AV equipment.Responds to any problems with AV equipment resolving the problems as quickly and efficiently as possible.Attends daily and weekly meetings as required communication set by manager.Monitors the condition of the AV equipment making sure that it is kept in the best possible condition.Recommends new or additional equipment that would help the location better service its guests.Conducts monthly inventories of the AV equipment.Conducts training classes on AV equipment for conference services, facilitators, program managers and onsite staff.Work as a team with all team members.Performs all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: 3-5 years experience in the Audio Visual industry.College Degree preferred.
