Primary Location: Marshfield, Missouri Relocation Offered: No Employment Status: Full-timeTravel: NoAs our CAD Technician Design, you will support the product line for ACGI by creating drawings to address complex installation and product issues via two-dimensional and three-dimensional design software (AutoCAD, Inventor), providing solutions to internal and external customers.What you’ll be doing:Creating design drawings and working within the shop drawing processWorking cooperatively with project managers, project coordinators and customers to accurately interpret architectural drawings and project scope-of-work informationCreating project drawing files both paper and electronic and maintaining electronic filesSupporting sales process drawingSupporting change order process drawingSupporting RFQ and RFI process drawingOrdering package drawing creation and supportCreating custom solutions for specific projects, including new product development, as assignedPreparing approval packages, as requiredSupporting the RFQ process with operations management for vended products and other material solutions and needs Participating in the submittal processParticipating in conference calls with sales, project management, project coordination, and customersSupporting the sample process, as requiredWhat will make you successful:Associates degree or certificate in Computer-Aided Design, Architectural, Mechanical, Engineering or closely related field, OR 3+ years of closely related work experience, OR equivalent combination of education and work experienceExperience with AutoCADWell-developed computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and statistical analysis programsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills; team playerSelf-starter with a strong ability to multi-task and juggle multiple responsibilitiesPreferred qualifications:Experience with InventorExperience with AutoCAD 3DAbout the Location (Marshfield, MO)Architectural Components Group, Inc.
