Overview Capstone is seeking a Technical Support Specialist to support the Navy’s MPTE TSS as a member of the Naval Education Training Command (NETC) IT Support team. This position supports the Naval Service Training Command (NSTC) and is located in Great Lakes, Illinois. Responsibilities * Assists ACTR and Technical Support Specialists as required. * Performs seat and/or technical refresh services. * Submits applicable trouble tickets and provides remediation. * Maintains inventory of NRTC training assets (desktop and laptop computers, printers and other IT peripherals). * Issues IT assets to Navy trainees. Basic Qualifications Minimum education and experience: * Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent.
* Three (3) years of experience related to Electronic Documentation, System Administration, Network Administration, and/or Database Administration. Minimum qualifications: * Electronic Documentation and inventory. * Functional expertise with MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Visio and Project. * Able to lift 25lbs, climb stairs, stoop under equipment or desks, and walk across campus. Certification: * IAT Level II certification (e.g. Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, GICSP, GSEC or SSCP).
