SummaryThe Technical Support Representative position works closely with Turbocharger Aftermarket (IAM) and Industrial (IND) Sales team to support distributors and customers across various industry verticals with MTEA product offerings.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:First line post-sales technical support via phone and/or email.

Must be able to troubleshoot using well-honed critical thinking skills.Resolve customer concerns raised during product application, installation and/or operation.Process and manage warranty claims in a timely fashion including thorough analysis, detailed report findings, and problem resolution.Obtain Bill Of Materials from MHIET Engineering, create detailed workflow and release required documentation for new programs to MTEA internal team members.

Implement approved documents in Sage system.Gather trending marketplace application information with attention to product life cycle during regular customer communication.Communicate with customers regarding MTEA products and understand the customer needs.Assist in development of presentation materials for potential customers.Assist in development and management of marketing tools for customers.Travel domestically and internationally with sales team to customer sites.Attend domestic and international trade shows.Communicate frequently with MHIET Aftermarket Turbo engineering team outside of regular business hours.Complete work assignments within allotted time frame.Support co-worker activities as requested.Perform other duties as assigned by MTEA Management.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree required, Engineering a plus, work experience in automotive industry a plus.Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication (verbal/written) skills.Ability to effectively set priorities and meet deadlines.Electronically access blueprints.Operate computer, printer, copy machine, scanner, telephone, cell and all other equipment related to area.Proficient computer skills and aptitude; MS Office products and Sage software preferred.Possess solid administrative, project management and organizational skills.Prior customer-facing experience preferred.Must be able to remain in a stationary position for long periods of time throughout the shift.Must be able to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.Must be able to occasionally move up to 50 pounds.
