Position: Technical Sales Support Representative
Location: Zachary, LA
Summary: All major aspects of technical customer service/inside sales primarily in the heavy industrial markets, to include Oil/Gas, Chemical, Pulp & Paper, as well as others. Being able to answer questions, problem solve, search for products, offer advice, knowledge of our parts, quick response time, price parts and quote delivery times. Entering all orders and working orders in the computer system and follow order through until order is shipped. Paperwork to support all daily events and type all quotes and enter into current MRP system. All aspect of the product process, from cradle to grave. Opportunity for potential growth within Pro Cast, as well as ITT, with the right skill sets.
Responsibilities:
- Customer Inquiry-Information Research, Costing, Pricing, Inquiry Log.
- Preparing professional proposals (quotes) for current as well as new parts
- Completes Order Fulfillment Process
- Customer Service – Expedites – Handles Any Problems
- Interface with outside vendors to solicit quotes
- Printing drawings from IPG vault for all CSR’S
- Maintains Documentation for Tracking of Orders
- Scheduling of Customer’s Orders with Production Control Manager
- Invoicing of Customer’s Orders in Vantage
- Sales Reporting to Financial Analyst
- Understand complicated drawings and specifications

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and review procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Understanding of division profit/financial objectives, competitive products and capabilities, marketing techniques and procedures, product capabilities, communication skills, blueprint reading, specification reading, and writing.
