Design 1 Group, LLC is looking to hire a Systems Support Specialist, the individual will be responsible for
· Answering requests for software and hardware support throughout the company.
· Performing routine preventative maintenance on hardware systems and network equipment
· Will troubleshoot issues and find and implement fixes for those issues
– This will involve working with computers, phones, printers, and other digital systems.
· Install new software and connect new hardware to existing networks, update outdated software / hardware packages
· Setting up IPads and maintaining distribution logs
· Install and repair network cables
· Backup data files and information preventing loss during upgrades
· Train individuals on various software programs, hardware, and printers.
Skills and Qualifications
Time Management
· Must be able to work independently with little to no supervision.
· Must be motivated and work driven
Computer Skills
· Excellent computer skills are essential for this position, must have the ability to work with multiple computer programs. Prior experience in a call center is a plus.
Communication Skills
· Must have excellent communication skills, with the ability to listen to problems reported by users and be able to interpret what the user is relaying.
Problem Solving Skills
· Must be able to diagnose and repair problems with software, hardware, printers, and phone systems.
