STIHL is seeking a highly motivated, detail oriented Lead Warehouse Support for our STIHL Northwest location in Centralia, WA.This individual will oversee and participate in the warehouse operations and activities of the Branch, train and support all warehouse personnel while ensuring STIHL policies and Branch procedures are adhered to at all times.Position highlights include:Benefits – Competitive health insurance, compensation, 401K, bonuses and PENSION!Job Duties & ResponsibilitiesResponsible for opening and closing the facility for the Warehouse Support team.

Ensures that all entryways are secured at day-end.Manages all hourly order downloads in the ERP system and adjust team member assignments as order volume dictates.Updates assignment board daily during Supervisor absences/vacations.Ensures all team members comply with best practices to complete work efficiently and safelySafeguards against violations of company policies and give immediate feedback when policies are violated.

Enforce 5S policies to achieve and maintain cleanliness within all work areasPerforms regular quality assurance checks of finished shipments to ensure procedural compliance and accuracy.Oversees and participates in shipping procedures, including selection, packaging, and loading transit vessels.Completes day-end assessment of all works-in-process and oversees and/or execute the daily closeout processing of shipping manifests.Oversees and participates in quarterly cycle counts.Provides oversight and assists with the cross-training of all Warehouse Support personnel.Greets, assists customers and maintains accurate records of customer pick-ups.Participates in team meetings and helps ensure a fair and supportive environment.Orders specific shipping supplies and monitors the inventory of key production items as designated by management.Assists customer service in resolving dealer problems and assumes additional related responsibilities as needed.SpecificationsHigh School diploma or equivalent.5+ years of related experience preferred.Valid forklift license required.Lifts and/or moves up to 25 pounds frequently; lifts and/or moves up to 50 pounds occasionally
