TITLE: Software Development & Support Associate
POSITION TYPE: Professional Full-time
APPLICATION SUPPORT RESPONSIBILITIES:
Communicate with clients to understand and document issues related to software products provided by Humanitarian Software
Evaluate issues reported by clients on our cloud and mobile app versions of HELM software products, and provide ongoing solutions.
Participate and determine the root cause for all issues raised and initiate escalations when needed.
Responsible for developing and maintaining the planning and ticketing system.
DEVELOPMENT RESPONSIBILITIES:
Entry level development of software appropriate with skills.
(PHP, Java, Kotlin, CSS, etc)
Participate in system configuration and testing events
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Ability to learn and master employer-specific software.
Complex problem solving.
Ability to diagnose & address application issues.
Proficient in web languages including HTML, CSS, JQuery, PHP, AJAX, Java.
Experience in RDBMS systems including Oracle and MSSQL.
Ability to create complete SQL queries requiring understanding of joins, insert and deletes, without limit impacts on a transactional database.
Working experience with Apache and Tomcat.
Experience in planning tools such as Monday.com
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field
