Sales Support Administrator
– Atlanta (Federal)Job Summary:We are seeking a candidate who possesses the necessary skills, experience and desire to become an integral part of, and contributes to, the success of the Sales team.
The Sales Support Specialist will serve a key role in the Sales Support team by supporting Sale account executives in closing new business, providing end-to-end support of proposals, quotes and RFP responses, assisting with sales information tracking & reporting, and enforcing process and documentation standards.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:Work with Sales to create professional proposals and sales correspondence as assigned including document creation, writing/editing sales-oriented correspondence and documentation, organizing and presenting pricing and producing client-facing sales documents Working closely with Sales account executives to research, develop and prepare materials in support of the selling process Provide original writing, as required for proposals and marketing materials Proof and edit technical and non-technical documents, to ensure accuracy and consistency with Diversified brand and marketing standards Lead the end-to-end process of responding to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) including working with SMEs and other resources, organizing and assembling response team, kick-off and point meetings, establishing and managing assignments, editing and review, and printing and shipping of final documents Develop standard proposal content, templates, process/training documents and other sales-related content Maintain sales support library of proposals, RFPs, template documents, etc.
Assist in organizing, tracking and reporting of sales activities utilizing appropriate software tools and the Diversified CRM system Support the sales teams’ use of the CRM system (ConnectWise); develop the necessary expertise in system utilization to effectively administer the sales information management Job Qualifications:Education/Certifications:Bachelor’s degree in related discipline preferred At least three years’ experience in either (a) sales administration/support; (b) technical or marketing writing; or (c) professional RFP writing or response preparation Organized, multi-tasker with the ability to prioritize and work effectively under deadline pressure Required/Desired Knowledge, Experience and Skills:Experience with CRM applications and understanding of how CRM is used in sales; Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills Extensive knowledge of document formatting and desktop publishing techniques Expertise in Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Experience working with and developing basic proposal graphics desired Excellent business writing, editing and proofreading skills Knowledge of the A/V or digital media/communications fields is a plus.
High attention to detail General understanding of contracts and legal language helpful Flexible, collaborative demeanor with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
