Sales/Office Support

Belvest USA, Inc.

is looking for showroom support for the selling staff.

Belvest is an Italian manufacturer of high end tailored clothing (mostly men, some women).

The job is full time, M-F 9-5.

The position is a good opportunity for a recent college graduate to learn about fabrics, tailored clothing, and the wholesale industry.Responsibilities include:* Work closely with company president on a wide range of tasks (merchandising, working with fashion magazines, coordinating with factory/office overseas, etc.).* Prep for Market each season by preparing samples and swatches, and merchandising the showroom.* Assist in sales meetings.* Maintain and manage showroom and office premises by reordering supplies and keeping everything organized.* Responsible for all showroom samples and inventory.* Manage all shipping and receiving of the office.* Administrative support such as, answering phones and filing.Qualifications:* Must be highly organized* Excellent communication skills* Market week experience a plus* Administrative experience a plus* Bachelors degreeJob Type: Full-timeExperience:* Fashion: 1 year (Required)Education:* Bachelor's (Required)Location:* New York, NY 10022 (Required)
