Description:Primary FunctionThe primary function of this position will serve our customers, both internal and external, by managing the day to day operation of the Wide Area Network including hardware and software support and maintenance.

Assists is the design and function of the networking and communication systems of The Reid Group.We believe that exceptional customer service is best shown by:An appreciation of the role our customers play in our successAn empathy towards the challenges our customers faceAlways being friendly, patient, and politeAn offer of assistance when concerns are expressedGiving our full attention, with knowledge of our services and productsAiding in the resolution of customer matters by asking the right questions, consulting the right department and when necessary, following up with the customer to complete the service.Duties/Responsibilities Repair and replace POS, network and peripheral equipment such as Back Office, Tank Monitor, routers, switches, and additional devices as necessary.Phone and On-site Support for Retail customersInteract with internet service provider and MSP to issue proper serviceMonitor and support all network equipment with 100% planned uptime targetMaintenance and repair of PC hardwareSet up, maintain, install, and troubleshoot devices such as money order machines, phone card terminals, ATMs, order devices, etcAssist in development and support of back office softwareUnderstand and practice PCI complianceInstall and maintain required software on PCsSupport mobile devices including cell phones and tablets.Be part of an on-call rotation for emergency off-hours support.

Requirements:Knowledge / Skill RequirementsWorking knowledge of local and wide area networks, internet, and data communicationsAbility to multitask and meet deadlinesAnalytical and problem solving skills
