Quality Specialist – Supplier Color Harmony Support

Job Overview:
Under general supervision, this position is responsible for expert level visual color matching and evaluation of interior parts for supplier color PPAP (Color Sampling).

Job Description:
Perform expert level visual color checks and color readings of the interior color sample parts with specified equipment and requirements.
Obtain master samples for interior parts from RD Germany (Team Color & Trim Feasibility & Realization) to be used for color matching
Keep sample parts and conduct reviews with the responsible Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE).
Contact suppliers for questions or issues of sample parts and/or for missing information.
Onsite Checks, color measurement and documentation for incoming material and after parts are produced.
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Business, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain, or equivalent professional and education experience
Minimum 3 years of professional experience in Quality or Color Harmony Support areas.
Visually certified through Munsell Test
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 
Ability to travel internationally and domestically to suppliers.
Familiarity with PPAP process
