About this role: Project Labor Support ManagerAbout this role: Project Labor Support ManagerBrunel has an exciting opportunity for a Project Labor Support Manager for a long-term, contract position with our client in Arizona. This position will initially be with occasional travel to engineering offices in Canada. Ultimately the position will require you to work on-site at our client’s site in Bagdad, AZ. This project is estimated to go for 2 to 4 years.In this role, you will manage all administrative and project support activities for a large, complex Engineering and Construction project, valued between $500M and $1B. Duties will include but not limited to:Identify, source, mobilize/demobilize staff within projects.Hiring of local staff for project support.Establishing agreements with support vendors.Facilitate required training for all personnel on site.Manage and establish all transportation, accommodations, security, safety, offices, IT and business services for all work locations defined by the project.Lead the execution of all labor support requirements including; visas/work permits, payrolling, mobilization/demobilization packages, taxation and statutory requirements, as well as location specific legal and social requirements.Monitor and report on all contractor staff performance, status and trends with suppliers.Lead to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.Serve as project manager when project manager is offsite.RequirementsRequirementsREQUIREMENTS:Bachelor’s degree preferred9+ years field Project Management experience within an engineering and construction project site required.Preferred experience in the mining/metals industryPreferred experience in remote construction camp managementPrior EPCM construction environment experience requiredAbility to manage project support and administrative functions on complex projectsAble to lead and make decisionsStrong understanding construction contracts, work plans and schedulesKnowledge of construction staffingStrong communication and organizational skillsProfessional ability to resolve complex or difficult problemsProficient in MS OfficeSkilled in following safety practices and recognizing hazardsBenefitsBenefitsOFFER:Brunel has a reputation for working with some of the best in the business.
