Product Support Manager Job Category: Project and Program Management Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: Secret Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 50% Type of Travel: Local We have a great opportunity for a Product Support Manager (PSM) supporting the Shared Early Warning System (SEWS) Operations, Maintenance, and Sustainment (OM&S) contract. You will manage logistics and product support functions required to field and maintain the readiness and operational capability of the SEWS, SEWS subsystems, and components. Provide leadership to the product support team and subject matter expertise to the PM for the execution of the Integrated Logistics Support Plan, Maintenance and Modification Services for SEWS. The PSM will be responsible for the day to day operations of logistics and warehouse support, Configuration Management, and Maintenance and Modification Services (MMS). What You’ll Get to Do: You will support various day-to-day activities as well as longer term planning initiatives. You would supervise a team of logisticians, engineers, and configuration management specialists. This position will directly interface with the Government customer while supporting various contract required meetings. You will be responsible for performing and implementing a variety of responsibilities related to the flow of materials. Candidate will plan and manage MMS, configuration management support, and sustain logistics functions including: Inventory/Utilization, life cycle management, Risk Management, and integrated product support of SEWS. Manage the control of the flow of goods, services and information between the point of origin through customer placement to meet customer requirements as well as developing and ensuring the execution and improvement of the Integrated Logistics Support Plan (ILSP). Plans, scheduled and routes imports and exports, including monitoring the flow of traffic to/from international destinations, ensuring related customer services, brokerage, and customs transaction compliance. Assess and maintains compliance with federal and foreign regulation governing the shipment, receipt and documentation of imported/exported products. You’ll Bring These Qualifications: * Typically requires bachelor’s degree or equivalent and 7 years of related experience
* DOD weapon system product support experience
* 3 years of supervisor experience
* Experience with Depot-level maintenance of electronic/mechanical systems
* Experience with Logistics and Supply functions within the SEWS highly desired
* Experience with Contractor Supported Weapons Systems (CSWS) practices and procedures highly desired
* Experience assessing and maintaining compliance with federal and foreign regulations governing the shipment, receipt, and documentation of imported/exported products

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, geographic location, education, and certifications.
