This is a Full-time position in Apache Junction, AZ posted November 30, 2021.

Job Description For Supervised visitation services $18.00 to $20.00 per hour and flexible scheduling, plus additional mileage reimbursement.

This position is 80% driving with mileage reimbursement.

This position requires extensive driving Evenings and Weekends ( Friday through Sunday) are absolutely mandatory.

BASIC FUNCTION: The Case Aide manages all aspects of child-parent-family visits, documenting interactions both positive and negative and without bias.

Case Aide’s utilize coordination services, professional documentation, independent and creative thinking.

REQUIREMENTS: Required Education: High School Graduate, some college, degree preferred.

Minimum of 1-year experience in the Human Service field or child care experience.

Licensing/Registration/Certification: Valid AZ driver’s license Must be 21 years or older Pass MVR 36-month (3 years) history check twice each year Have fingerprint card or obtain upon hire.

First Aid/CPR certified or obtained upon hire No Felonies Current vehicle access and current registration (Back seat required for Transport) Current vehicle insurance coverage Personal access to the internet and computer for case note purposes Willingness to work evenings and weekends Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: The Case Aide: Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office Products and able to utilize these information systems.

Be a strong team player.

Understand customer service internally and externally.

Ability to coordinate multiple cases.

Use sound judgment in making decisions and solving problems.

Maintain a professional relationship with parents, family members and children.

Have the ability to perform services in a professional and businesslike manner and to the highest standard of professional conduct.

Understand appropriate interactions between parents, family and children.

Use professional documentation.

Understand cultural differences and apply accordingly.

Physical Requirements: The physical demands are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions typical of an administrative position including transportation services.

RESPONSIBILITIES: The responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to, the following: Document visits without bias or personal beliefs using professional documentation practices in accepted format and medium.

Ensure the safety of children at all times.

Always allow natural parent-child interactions.

Provide a maximum opportunity for parent-child contact and for parents to demonstrate responsibility for the child.

Educate all parties involved of the visitation plans as well as visitation guidelines, limitations, and responsibilities of all parties.

Resolve conflict and de-escalate situations effectively.

Document a child’s behavior on route to the visit, the parent’s reaction to the child, parent’s behavior during the visit, child’s reaction to seeing birth parents, child/parent separation behavior.

Ensure all visit notes are detailed, accurate, and submitted timely.

Communicate all issues to your direct supervisor immediately.

Conduct vehicle check prior to the start of the day.
