Overview: The role contributes to Seasons mission of Honoring Life and Offering Hope by assuming responsibility for managing the Physician Support Specialist as well as supporting the physicians and Hospice Medical Director(s).Positions Over Which Supervisory Responsibility is Held: Physician Support Specialist Qualifications: High school diplomaTwo [2] years physician or scheduling experience preferredOne [1] year previous clerical experience, preferably in a medical setting or equivalentMedical Billing and Medical Terminology certificationPhysician coding certification, preferredDemonstrates an ability to work closely with a variety of people while effectively using problem-solving skillsStrong organizational skills and attention to detailComputer skills to include scheduling, medical billing and patient information software applicationsMust be self-motivated, service oriented and have excellent communication skills (written and oral)
