We are looking for a customer-oriented pharmacy associate.
In this position, you will answer phone calls, greet customers, take prescriptions, confirm insurance information, and handle payments when orders are ready.
The best candidates should be patient, empathetic, and passionate communicators.
They are genuinely excited to help and talk with patients.
Pharmacy associates encompass excellent customer service standards, respond efficiently to customer inquiries and maintain high customer satisfaction.
When not working with customers, you will review inventory and help keep our shelves stocked and organized.
Our ideal candidate has at least one (1) year of retail or customer service experience, preferably in a pharmacy, and is familiar with medical terminology.
Responsibilities
Greet patients when entering the pharmacy
Excellent customer service and good telephone etiquette
Collect insurance information
Manage sales transactions using point of sale
Scan goods and ensure pricing is accurate
Collect payments whether in cash or credit
Stock, clean, and organize OTC shelves
Cross-sale products and introduce new ones
Maintain clean work space
Skills
One (1) year previous customer service experience
Basic PC knowledge
Familiarity with electronic equipment, like cash register and POS
Good math skills
Ability to count cash and give back change accurately
Customer serviced focused
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
High school degree
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $11.00
– $13.00 per hour
