About this position: As a Direct Support Supervisor at Mosaic, you’ll have the opportunity to directly impact the lives of people with disabilities and the people who support them in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
In this position you will coordinate scheduling 20-25 employees, activities and operations of 3 group homes with 3 4 persons living in each home.
Working with regulatory agencies and internal quality assurance to develop compliance practices which delivers the high quality services deserving of each individual who chooses Mosaic’s services.
As a leader, you will coach, develop and train all new and current employees to grow in building relationships with each person, family member, guardian and peer they reach each and every day.
As a good financial steward of resources this position will monitor household budgets, order household and person supplies, account for spending and receipts for all individual and household purchases.
This position requires effective communication with several stakeholders within and outside of working hours, navigating systems, technology and practices to build capacity and creating a culture of endless opportunity for each person receiving Mosaic services.
#NONDSP2Requirements:Associates Degree in a related field OR 2 years’ experience in the field can be substituted for education.
A minimum of 6 months supervisor/management experience with 1 year being ideal.Position may require certification in CPR and medication administration.Work requires frequent physical activity including extended periods of standing, walking, and bending with occasional periods of sitting, kneeling, climbing, stooping, crouching, squatting and balancing.Work also requires constant reaching between knee and shoulder level as well as frequent reaching below knee level and overhead.Work requires occasional independent lifting up to 25 pounds, frequent push/pull up to 40 pounds of force and the ability to safely transfer 50 pounds.
