TRAX International (TRAX) is preparing a proposal for future performance of the Redstone Test Center (RTC) Test Support Services contract in Huntsville, AL.

Salaries are negotiable based on specific experience and proven performance .  Manages the overall technical activities of a large contractor branch/division of engineers and technicians assigned to perform technical support services related instrumentation, data collection, and information technology systems used for test and evaluation at the Redstone Test Center.

Responsible for planning, scheduling, and application of personnel and equipment resources to meet customer test activities.

Assess test plans in terms of resource and workload allocations, resolve conflicts, updating milestone schedules, and ensuring adequate and timely test support is available.

Assess projected workloads, compare to available resources in terms of numbers and available skills, and confer with Army personnel on issues and need to supplement resources.

Assesses the capabilities of the workforce and recommends specific training to continuously improve performance and keep pace with evolving technologies.

Ensures adherence and compliance with Army and RTC regulations and procedures.

Reports directly to the TRAX RTC Program Manager.

Qualifications

• Must have 15 years’ experience with 5 years in research, development or test and evaluation; or must have a BS Degree and 9 years experience with 5 years in research, development or test and evaluation; or a MS Degree and 7 years’ experience with 5 years in research, development or test and evaluation
• 3 years’ experience managing 50 or more people in a technical environment
• Specific experience in the management/technical development of instrumentation, data collection and information technology systems is highly desirable
• Secret security clearance is required
  

  Physical Demands and Working Conditions

• The work of this position is performed in an environmentally controlled office environment and sometimes in the field where you are subject to the environment
• Must be capable of sitting and entering data on a computer keyboard for extended periods of time
• Must be able to view computer monitor for extended periods of time
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds unassisted
