SUMMARY :
Under the general supervision of the Maintenance Team Leader, this position works closely with the production and maintenance team within all Rogers Group facilities to support the coordination of maintenance work orders to assist production with reaching their safety, quality, delivery and performance goals.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Maintain MicroMain maintenance software system and schedule work orders
Maintain Imagewave software system for tracking “Material Safety Data Sheets” and posting as required by MIOSHA
Perform monthly safety audits and attend monthly safety meetings
Perform monthly 5-S audits and publish monthly reports
Produce weekly manufacturing support and program shop sign with the results
Purchase and manage inventory for the maintenance department

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: High school graduation required.
Experience in a manufacturing operation.
LANGUAGE SKILL: Must be able to read, write, and demonstrate conversational skills in technical areas
COMPUTER SKILLS: Working knowledge of computer keyboard for reporting activities and internet for communication.
Must be able to type and have experience with basic computer operations.
Training will be provided for specific software systems
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Must possess basic math skills and able to apply concepts such as fractions, decimals, and decimal equivalents to practical situations.
REASONING ABILITY: Self-Starter, strong communication skills.
Needs to be able to solve problems.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to stand, use hands, and reach with hands and arms.
The associate is required to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
The associate may be required to sometimes sit, climb or balance.
The associate may lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this position includes close vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.
While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts.
The associate will be required to have a valid driver’s license.
The associate will be subjected to reasonable stress associated with the performance of normal duties.
The associate will be exposed to manufacturing and office environments.
