Overview:JBT is a leader in the food processing automation industry, and we are looking for experienced engineers who can bridge the gap between our R& D engineering team and our field service and support teams.
Our software drives robotic water-jet cutting equipment using computer vision for the food processing industry.
You will be working with a multidisciplinary software team that focuses on machine control and development on a real-time operating system.
We are a fast-paced division of a large technology company, excited to work and experiment with new technologies.
We have a wide range of products including harvesting robots, waterjet portioners, blade portioners, scanning/inspection systems, and IoT services.You should be a self-starter with a bias towards independent problem solving.
This will include identifying and resolving issues.
You will be responsible for diving deep into the details of issues while developing solutions for our customers.
You will drive prioritization of operational issues.The ideal candidate must be detail oriented, have superior verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational skills, able to juggle multiple tasks at once, able to work independently and can maintain professionalism under pressure.
