We are looking for a IT Specialist/ Technician to help our teams to succeed. We are adding this role to support the additional 100 people we are bringing on now and into the next 4 months. This position is responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, or software.
Job Requirements:
SUMMARY: The Support Specialist is responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, or software. The Support Specialist monitors equipment, network and software platforms and works closely with our IT vendors, management, and employees. Responds to and diagnosis problems through discussion with users. Ensures a timely process through which problems are controlled. Includes problem recognition, research, isolation, resolution, and follow-up steps. Provides support to end users on a variety of issues.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
• Operate as the lead point of contact for employee technical support
• Support end-users on all applications and software products
• Troubleshooting of PCs, peripherals, and basic LAN hardware
• Perform PC software setup and configuration
• Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions.
• Administer existing systems to ensure structural integrity and promote automation practices
• Recommend, develop, and implement cloud-based and on-premise applications, infrastructures, and software components required to meet the business’s needs.
• Perform remote analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of technological problems for a variety of employees and recommend and implement corrective solutions.
• Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
• Associates Degree in a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications, training, or work experience
• Familiarity with Windows & Mac operating systems
• Strong verbal and written communications
• The ability to prioritize while providing superior service and follow-through
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with peers, vendors and management
