In order to provide our clients continuously with an excellent service, we want to further strengthen our team and are therefore looking for you!

We are seeking a service-oriented and self-motivated professional to join our IT support team.

In this role, you will provide excellent customer service and high-quality technical application support.

You will be tasked with solving complex technical issues and will also collaborate with team members across all departments to assist them with their technical requirements.

You must also be able to prioritize a variable workload and know when to escalate a problem appropriately.

Whilst demonstrating that you are an excellent team player you have a solid background working within a busy team.

Your responsibilities:

  • First and second level support to global Chain IQ users (on-site and/or via remote support) based on ITIL framework
  • Installation, maintenance and administration of notebook’s, Meeting rooms, Peripherals and mobile devices
  • Providing assistance and support to colleagues in IT-related matters
  • Escalating problems where necessary to management or third-party suppliers
  • Undertaking small IT projects as instructed by the IT Operations Manager
  • Performing basic administrative support (e.g.

    Access management) duties, as required, to meet specific operational objectives

  • Diagnosing and resolving technical issues on your own and as part of a team
  • Provide support to users via telephone, email and remote control
  • Keeping documentation up to date
  • Liaising with 3rd parties and suppliers
  • Knowledge of Asset management, M365 and SharePoint
  • Obtaining quotes from suppliers, ie Dell, Avoira
  • Reporting faults to Canon and arrange for engineers to attend
  • Ensuring correct cables are available and put in place with new hot-desking format/office reconfiguration
  • Responsible for IT Cage and IT cupboard – ensure stocked in an organised manner

Your profile:

  • minimum of 3-5 years of experience as IT Support Engineer
  • have a solid background working within a busy team
  • you are well organized and punctual
  • self-motivated
  • flexible in your approach to work
  • must be able to prioritize a variable workload and know when to escalate a problem appropriately
  • communicate effectively with pressurized users at all levels, often whilst under pressure themselves
  • excellent team player
  • knowledge on ITIL framework and Ticketing tool like Service Now
