Investigative Support Analyst – Washington DC

As a member of the Digital Crimes and Converged Security Services (DCCS) team, you will integrate and support the investigative mission to detect and manage a variety of analytical needs.
As the DCCS Investigative Support Analyst, you will work to exchange information and intelligence to disrupt cyber threats to the financial services industry and criminal investigations.

You will work as part of a team of experienced analysts to disseminate intelligence on these threats to the DCCS in support of the Global Security Organization (GSO) mission.

This role will work collaboratively with other business units within the organization, intelligence analysts, technical analysts, private industry partners, and law enforcement officials.

Duties and Responsibilities:

– Work with multiple-source analysis on current and emerging threats using advanced research methods and other analytical techniques to produce concise reports and metrics relevant to Tik Tok business operations, financial vulnerabilities, and criminal/illicit activities impacting the business

– Conduct open-source research, use other analytical methodologies to work with our internal and external intelligence partners to produce products relating to the DCCS mission

– Work with the DCCS Lead Financial Crimes and Lead Criminal Investigator to develop collection and intelligence requirements to engage industry partners and internal stakeholders

– Collaborate with industry partners and other member partners to ensure information is being effectively produced for the DCCS in support of GSO's mission.

– Use data visualization tools to highlight risks to sensitive business practices and information support good governance and cyber-enabled financial/criminal investigations.

– Advise of changing industry challenges and technical advancements to recommend to Tik Tok's existing technologies, processes, collection, and analytical methods

– Provide briefings on relevant threats and trends for illegal financial, fraud, and criminal activities impacting business practices in similar industries

– Assist DCCS investigators and other stakeholders with case support in obtaining and analyzing data

– Produce presentations and analytical reports for internal and external stakeholders

– Other duties as assigned, liaison duties with U.S.

Government agencies and other industry partners to coordinate the exchange of information
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Public Administration, International Affairs, data analysis or related field or equivalent privacy, risk, compliance, project management or like discipline from an accredited college or university or measurable knowledge/experience from proven industry, defense, intelligence or government operations.

Experience:

– 10+ years of investigative or intelligence or military experience in intelligence operations.

– Must be able to collaborate with executives and leaders, creative teams, research and development, and product development teams.

– Works well under pressure and within time/budget constraints.

Collaborates effectively with cross-functional entities across the enterprise.

– Proven track record of managing and executing short and long-term projects.

– Knowledge of cyber threat landscape, cybercrimes, financial crimes, social engineering, insider threats and other criminal activities

– Experience with a variety of government or industry investigative and intelligence analytical tools is preferred, such as palantir, penlink, open Source databases, visualization/business intelligence, link analysis, etc.

– Experience in working with or in tech industries, digital forensics, IT governance, and business continuity is preferred

– Able to obtain a security clearance.
