INVAR Technologies: On-Site Desktop & Network Support Engineer L2 Part Time – Queens

INVAR Technologies is a well-established Managed Technology & Cloud Solutions Provider servicing mid-size businesses and we are looking for Technical Field Engineer Level 2OverviewWe are seeking an onsite Technical Field Engineer with 3-5 years MSP experience and at least 2 years experience in a client-facing capacity.

This role will be traveling (mostly driving within NY Tri-State area) and visiting clients sites on the weekly rotation.We are looking for 5-10 hours / week (30-40 hrs/month) minimum commitment.*Responsibilities include but not limited to*:* End user On-site Desktop Support* Firewall, Switch and WAP Installation* Boots on the ground for remote Help Desk Support team* Computer Swaps / Windows 10 upgrade* Site Surveys for new network / wifi deployments* Network Testing and Certification* NVR / IP Security camera system knowledge (preferred)* VoIP knowledge & understanding ( preferred)*Personal Skills ** Self-motivated and high level of enthusiasm* Excellent written and verbal communication skills* Strong analytical troubleshooting skills* Take a personal interest in, and responsibility for the quality of work performed* Ensure accurate and complete documentation* Ability to pay close attention to detail while performing a technically detailed task* Ability to quickly learn new technologies and adapt to rapid changes* Ability to articulate technical information clearly and simply to non-technical people* Adaptable to different client site* Clean and professional demeanor* Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures*Key Performance Indicators** Completed tickets on-site* End of visit Documentations created* KBs created* CSAT*Level 2 knowledge of following technologies (or similar) required ** Cisco Meraki* ConnectWise* IT Glue* Visio*Industry certifications is big plus and will increase the compensation: CCNA, MCSE, Meraki, ConnectWise *Job Types: Part-time, Temporary, ContractPay: $50.00 $100.00 per hourCOVID-19 considerations:Following & exceeding all CDC regulations.Application Question(s):* Describe your biggest life achievement (life or work).Education:* High school or equivalent (Preferred)Experience:* MSP: 3 years (Required)* Field Engineer: 3 years (Required)Willingness To Travel:* 50% (Preferred)
