WHAT YOU WILL DO:Stage and set up devices for the studies in field or onsite.
Study set-up may involve engaging with engineeringLoad software onto devices using Android developer/platform tools commands and scriptsProvide accurate, time sensitive, and effective solutions/assistance to researchers during studiesAct as the main POC for device troubleshootingImprove and maintain the repository of manual test scenariosWork with engineers to improve our test coverage and facilitate the communication with researchers.
Coding will not be needed here, mainly looking for someone familiar with the software lifecycle.Involved with asset management of test devices and field recording equipmentUse the ticketing system to open, track, and resolve all device related issuesBuild and maintain relationships with our QA employees within VR platformsTravel will be involved, potentially international WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:2+ years experience in an QA or IT roleExperience troubleshooting Android through Android developer tools (ADB & Fastboot)Experience PC/Mac/Mobile recording softwareEducation Relevant degree or proven track recordFamiliarity with UX and usability research and methodsDetail oriented and has outstanding interpersonal skillsAbility to ramp up on internal processes and toolsExperience troubleshooting in Mac and Windows environment, including IP connectivity and application compatibilityExperience troubleshooting iOS devicesDemonstrated ability to work independentlyExcellent oral and verbal communication skills / Compelling communication and a strong customer service orientationExperience with virtual reality and gaming is a plus EOS is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive work environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
