Job Summary
The Director of Consumer Sales & Client Services is accountable for facilitating the integration of the sales, operations and service functions of Avera Insurance Division.
This position is responsible for the retention of Avera Insurance Division clients and members and provides leadership to the sales department for new sales on-boarding.
The Director of Client Services & Consumer Sales is the liaison between the operational functions of Avera Insurance Division and the outward facing group and customer experience departments.
This position develops and maintains a full understanding of the health plan sales, operations, service and other administrative functions and leverages this expertise in an external facing leadership role with clients.
Education
Required Education
Bachelor’s degree in related field with a working knowledge of the insurance industry.
License/Certification/Registration
Required License/Certification/Registration
Must possess a current life and health insurance license in home state and non-resident license in other states within the Avera Health Insurance Division service areas within sixty days of employment offer.
This position requires a valid driver’s license and that the employee is insurable by the Avera Health automobile liability insurance carrier.
