Benchmark is a national leader in providing programs to individuals with disabilities and mental illness.
The Richmond, Indiana Supported Living Program is seeking compassionate and caring people to work as a Direct Support Professional Floater.
Successful applicants will attend paid orientation and training.
No experience is necessary!
General Responsibilities: Provide support and assistance to people served who have developmental disabilities.
Assist people served in expanding their opportunities to participate in community life as they choose, accessing community resources, shopping, and recreational activities.
Must be willing to flex schedule according to the needs of the individual(s) served.
Assist the person served with daily living skills, including but not limited to personal care and household tasks (meal preparation, cleaning, laundry, etc.).
Administer medications and follow physicians orders concerning medications and treatments.
Attend required trainings and meetings.
Report any suspected abuse, neglect or exploitation immediately to supervisor.
Safely transport individuals served as required.
Ability to work with multiple staffing teams and consumers.
