We are seeking full-time and part-time staff to support us in the New Castle area serving individuals with developmental disabilities, mental illness and brain injuries.Â
Â
Responsibilities/Duties:
This position provides services to people with a broad array of disabilities, whether that be behavioral, physical, or mental health through assistance with activities of daily living, such as:Â
- Errands to shopping or activities
- Transporting to medical appointments
- Enjoying recreational outings together
- Preparing meals
- Assisting with medication administration
- Personal hygiene and grooming
- Bathing and toileting
- Teaching strategies to live as independently as possible
Qualifications:
What we require of you:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Able to pass written interview (no GED or high school diploma required)
- Valid driver’s license in good standing
- Access to a registered vehicle with proof of auto insurance
- Successful clearance of local and/or state background checksÂ
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds

Initial Training Requirement–Paid Training:
Approximately 40 hours of mandatory paid training sessions offered to new employees prior to providing care to individuals.Â
