What does a DSP do?
You would be a caregiver that would Teach; provide guidance, and support/assistance on a range of goals from:
• Personal hygiene
• Medication management
• Bathing and toileting
• Social participation
• Meal preparation & nutrition
• Household budgeting
• Exercise
• Cleaning
• Work and relationship skills
• Provide transportation to/from and support at medical appointments, shopping, recreational and social events.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Preferred Education and Experience:
• One year’s experience working with people with disabilities/mental illness preferred.
• At least 18 years of age with High School Diploma or GED.
• Basic computer skills including MS Word.
• Background checks with previous employers, references, law enforcement agencies, and others will be conducted.
• Valid driver’s license and driver’s record with no more than 3 moving violations.

FULL-TIME/PART-TIME Full-Time and/or Part-Time

SHIFT Various Shifts

WAGE $12.88 – $15.97 an hour based on education and experience.
