Direct Support Professional (DSP)

Crown Services is proud to accept applications for a Direct Support Professional in Somerset, KY! This is a full-time opportunity and is available immediately! Scheduled days may vary and are posted one month in advance. Employees are guaranteed off every third weekend (Saturday and Sunday).

Current Shift Offerings are:

2:45pm-11pm 5 days per week

7pm-7am 3-4 days per week

The base pay is $14 per hour.

-Direct Support Professional with High school diploma/GED -$14/hr.

-CNA-$14.75/hr.

-CMA-$15/hr.

-Associates Degree- $15.25/hr.

-Bachelor’s Degree-$15.75/hr.

-Master’s Degree-$16/hr.

Shift differentials are $.45 for the second and third shifts, plus an additional $1 per hour on weekends.

This career opportunity is temp with the intent to hire. Job Requirements:

• Providing direct support to individuals with intellectual disabilities
• Provide direct care support for adults with disabilities
• Provide direct care to persons with developmental and physical disabilities
• Enable individuals with disabilities to perform duties
• Play a direct care role, helping individuals with severe developmental disabilities to learnskills of daily living
• Play a direct care role, helping individuals with severe developmental disabilities to learn skills of daily living
• Support clients with developmental disabilities of different degrees
• Provide support to people with disabilities
• Perform personal care and daily living needs
• Supporting activities of daily living
• Assess the needs of persons with intellectual or other developmental disabilities
• Assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities live a self-directed life
• Complete all daily, weekly, and monthly records, reports, logs, progress notes, location reports, and medical records in a timely fashion
• Teach and assist with everyday living skills, support individuals with community activities including paid employment and volunteer opportunities, facilitate community relationships
