Title: Direct Support Professional

Job Details:
Located in Pine Hill, NJ
Shifts Availability – Monday to Friday 6am to 10am, Night Shift, Weekend shifts, and Per Diem.

Job Summary:
Assists, supervises, and trains group home residents in daily activities and assists in maintaining the household and the consumer’s personal belongings.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Insure client’s supervision, safety, well-being growth and quality of care according to the client’s individual service plan (ISP)
Plan, perform or assist with cares and activities with clients which may include but not limited to household chores, recreation activities and community events.
Promote community, leisure, and safety skills in addition to providing guidance and support as a positive role model for the client.
Perform household maintenance tasks as assigned
Provide feedback to group home manager regarding consumers’ progress and status
Attend mandatory staff meetings and all staff in service training programs as required
Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the job and maintain professional boundaries between family members and individuals served.
Transport clients (adhering to all safety policies and laws) as needed to meet program objectives and client’s needs.
Facilitating community and recreational outings
Administering medication

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED
Must pass background check and drug screening.
Pass criminal/registry background back checks and drug screening
Clear tuberculosis screening/physical
Successfully complete all trainings including CPR and First Aid Trainings
Valid unrestricted driver’s license with less then 5 points

Salary: $12.00 – $13.00 per hour
