The Desktop Support Technician II demonstrates a broad set of IT technical skills and advanced troubleshooting techniques.
This role serves as the primary point of contact for end-user IT Help Desk tickets.
All Desktop Support Technicians report the IT Manager, Support.
What You’ll Do
General hardware and software support
Advanced technical troubleshooting with local & remote users
Process Help Desk tickets and aid in proper flow of ticket queues
Heavy communication directly with customers when processing tickets
Delegate/Escalate tickets to others as needed
IT asset and inventory management in an asset database
What You’ll Need
2+ years of relevant experience
Comfortable with ticket tracking systems
Prior experience in customer service
Excellent understanding of computing concepts
Good understanding of computer networks
Good understanding of system administration
Great written and verbal communication skills
Operating Systems: Windows, macOS, Linus, iOS, Android
Ability to work on-site at our Ontario, CA location (this is not a remote position)

Experience with technical writing
