Robert Half Technology might have the Help Desk / Desktop Support role for you, located in the Rochester, New York area! This position is short-term in nature.
Your responsibilities
– Provide support of computers and basic office equipment
– Intake calls and handle them effectively according to need
– Create records of daily data communication transactions, issues and remedial actions taken or installation activities
– Match hardware repairs with the appropriate vendors
– Retain, investigate, and restore computer systems, hardware, printers, and computer peripherals
– Provide support on a variety of computer hardware and software issues by identifying, researching, and resolving technical problems
– Rectify computer problems, and suggest appropriate action/solutions

Job Requirements:
– Desktop support or related experience
– Microsoft Office experience, Access, SQL
– Deep understanding of Desktop Support
– Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10, Office365
