Customer Service Supervisor JOB SUMMARY: The Customer Service Supervisor will build a strong team and shape staff behaviors to accomplish desired results.
You will play a collaborative role in growing and implementing standards and processes.
You will maintain documentation such as correspondence and operational records, and communicate promotional offers to customers.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Strategizing and monitoring daily activities of customer service operation Training staff in areas of customer service and company policies Understand, develop, implement, and train others in company processes to include but not limited to quoting, implementation of accounts, and System management Coordinate customer inquiries, complaints and other requests with the Sales and Operations teams to facilitate accurate and timely responses Manage a team of customer service agents and key account supervisors Investigating and solving customer service complaints Maintaining documentation pertaining to customer service department activities Other duties as requested SKILLS/COMPETENCIES: Capability to build strong partnerships and to work collaboratively to achieve goals Demonstrated interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills Established time management and organization skills Proficiency in MS Office Ability to maintain a high level of enthusiasm and a positive attitude Detailed oriented and analytical Ability to be outcome oriented focused with strong performance culture Proficient in managing multiple tasks as the same time High standards and clear accountability EDUCATION: Bachelor s Degree in Business, Supply Chain or Logistics is a plus (3 years working experience in lieu of degree) High school diploma or equivalent required EXPERIENCE: 3 years of experience in managerial role; transportation and logistics customer service preferred 3 Years Supervisor Experience 3 Years Customer Service Experience PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: This is a clerical administrative position in a professional office setting.
The employee is frequently required to sit.
Occasionally stand, walk, use hands, stoop, bend and reach.
Extensive use of a phone and a PC is required.
Position may require to work remotely at times.
