Customer Service Representative

This is a Full-time position in Farmingdale, NJ posted December 13, 2021.

Who You Are:

As a Customer Service Representative your main responsibility is to communicate with the Sales team and customers about new orders and pending shipments.

What You’ll Do:
Receive new orders from sales

Send confirmation of new order to sales

Once confirmation is signed, upload order into ERP system

Upload revised confirmations for purchase orders when customer changes the order or sales advises to make a change

Monitor credit hold or on hold orders and follow up on their status with finance

Managing backorders with salespeople – cancel or remain open

Confirm with finance team that payments have been received so orders can be shipped

Print Amazon/UPS/Fedex labels for shipments

Create preliminary packing lists, packing lists, BOL’s, and BOL’s using specific carrier website (example Fedex Freight)

Validate inventory for each shipment prior to setting up routing

Route, schedule, confirm shipments with carrier via phone/email/website

Ship through PPL’s once the shipment physically leaves the plant

Set up international shipments

Track shipments

Communicate by phone/email with customers and salespeople

Process sample shipments as per requested by sales

Investigate inventory issues

Upload all necessary shipping documents to each sales order

Label cases for Amazon/UPS/Fedex

Keep track of all returns and communicate with sales the items that have been returned

Monitor location of inventory: Reserved, Holding, Main

Distribute production/completion reports

Communicate with packaging regarding differences between system inventory and completion report

Notify sales of inventory remaining for specific lots
What You Bring:
Minimum 1 year of customer service experience

Quick learner with excellent verbal and written communication skills

A persistent, creative and friendly personality

Ability to learn new systems quickly
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00
– $20.00 per hour
