Position background What does this position accomplish for the business? Retrieve medical records for clinical review.
What are the top 5-10 responsibilities for this position (please be detailed as to what the candidate is expected to do or complete on a daily basis)?
1. Communicate (written and verbal), with hospitals to ensure smooth operations for obtaining medical records.
2. Build and manage relationships with hospital facilities and staff; use of soft skills and superior communication to leverage these relationships in efforts to smooth the audit operation process.
3. Manage selected claims inventory by client to prioritize workload.
4. Ability to adjust to changing priorities by management in a face paced environment.
5. Follow HIPAA protocol and minimize misdirection of PHI.
What does the ideal candidate background look like (ex: healthcare specific background specific industry experience etc.)? Looking for someone who is very comfortable on the phone most of the day. Must be friendly and have excellent customer service skills.
What skills/attributes are required (please be detailed as to number of years of experience for each skill)? Excellent customer service skills, comfortable talking on the phone with providers, general data entry, moderate proficiency with Microsoft applications especially Excel. Work independently and ability to keep detailed notes.

What are the work hours (ex. 9am-5pm day/night shifts rotating shifts etc.)? 9am-5pm EST
