Full-Time Customer Service Representatives –

 

Remote position potential – $2,000 Special Bonus Opportunity

  • The $2,000 special bonus program is paid to new hires in two installments at 90-days and 6 months of employment, subject to satisfactory job performance.

  • Have relationship building skills and are devoted to providing excellent customer service
  • Have experience in retail, healthcare, hospitality or other public customer facing roles

 

This is a full-time hourly position with starting pay at $20/hour with a monthly bonus plan that offers the potential to earn up to an extra $400-$500 or more per month based on achievement of objectives.  Top performers typically earn well in excess of $1,000 per month!

  • Ability to confidently communicate valuable money saving information on additional mortgage and other products to qualified customers
  • Bi-lingual Spanish is a plus, additional per call compensation may apply
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Ambitious, self-motivated personality with a strong work ethic
  • Sense of self confidence and strong self-assuredness to succeed
  • Personal computer skills, good organizational and follow-through skills with emphasis on resolution of customer inquiries
  • Caring and compassionate personality with ability to engage successfully with customers
  • Must be a team player with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to deliver timely and accurate information in a fast-paced environmen
  • A problem solver with sound judgment
  • Ability to make decisions independently, sometimes out of the box, when a set policy and/or procedure doesn’t solve the problem

Job Description

  • Receive/service inbound calls from current customers
  • Provide general account information to customers including, but not limited to, inquiries regarding payments, escrow, taxes, payoffs and loan documents
  • Conduct preliminary or basic research in order to respond to routine inquiries
  • Process customer payments via phone
  • Cross sell PennyMac loan products to existing customers
  • Meet outlined production and quality standards
  • Interact with other PennyMac servicing departments to solution customer requests and resolve issues
  • Request assistance for and/or escalate more complex issues to department senior associates or supervisors
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned
  • Demonstrate behaviors which are aligned with the organization’s desired culture and values

Ideal Candidate will have the following:

  • Personal computer knowledge, including proficiency in Word and Excel 
  • Detail oriented with good organizational and follow-through skills
  • Strong negotiation skills with ability to effectively resolve problems and conflict and resolve problems effectively

  • Ability to deliver timely and accurate information in a fast-paced environment
  • Critical thinker with problem solving skills, mathematical skills and sound judgment
  • Ability to make decisions independently within set policy and procedures
  • Mortgage and/or financial services industry experience preferred
