Customer Service Representative

Customer Service Representative Job Summary:

A leading building materials supplier and manufacturer in Grand Rapids is seeking a Customer Service candidate to join their team. The Customer Service Team is the main line of communication with customers, acting as the conduit between the Outside Sales and Production teams.

Customer Service Representative Responsibilities:

• Building and maintaining excellent relationships with new and existing customers
• Answering incoming customer inquiries accurately and in a timely manner
• Providing excellent customer support and timely problem resolution
• Generating product quotes
• Coordinating with the Order Entry and Production teams as needed to ensure total customer satisfaction

Schedule: 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday

Customer Service Representative Qualifications:

• College degree preferred
• 2-5 years’ experience in a professional customer service environment
• General knowledge of the building process
• Professional phone and email etiquette
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Dependable
• Quick learner
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Building material exposure in wholesale or retail with exterior door knowledge is a plus
