We will train you for a future in Claims. In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for our customers and provide them with an exceptional customer experience. No experience is required in the insurance field for this position. We offer a paid state-of-the-art training program, to get you prepared on everything you need to know about insurance claims and help you succeed in this role. Position Responsibilities: + Attends and must successfully complete First Notice of Loss training program, together with any other programs of study selected for the employee’s training.+ Participates in and must successfully complete selected Pictorial Courses and other selected self-study courses during a defined period of time usually not to exceed 90 days..+ Must begin to prepare for any State Licensing exams required to fulfill licensing requirements in the states to be handled. If the state has required time period to secure license, employee must be in compliance within that stated time period. Must obtain and maintain license(s).+ Answers in-coming calls or obtains loss information via telephone, mail or email. Begins documentation of the loss after determining that the claim has not previously been reported. Transfer calls to other departments when appropriate.+ Provides prompt, friendly, courteous, accurate and helpful service including information about the claim handling process, claim number and general information questions. Position Qualifications: + Minimum of one (1) year full time work experience in a position requiring the use of analytical skills, customer service and good judgement in a fast paced environment.+ Must have good computer skills. Typing skills of 25 WPM or 3,000 KSH with 95% accuracy.+ Must have good planning and organizing skills.+ Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.+ Must have ability to deal with conflict in a professional manner.+ Monday-Saturday work schedule after training with a day off during the week._Kemper is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
