We are seeking a personable, enthusiastic, and motivated experienced full-time Veterinary Client Service Representative to join our busy AAHA accredited and Cat Friendly Certified practice that has served the Libertyville community for over 20 years. Our team consists of 6 full-time veterinarians and a well-trained support staff that includes several Certified Veterinary Technicians and Fear Free Certified professionals. Duties include, but are not limited to: Greeting clients Answering telephone calls and taking messages for the veterinarians or technicians Scheduling appointments Checking patients in and out of the hospital Handling clerical duties and financial issues Handling and updating client files Required skills: Excellent customer service skills Computer skills – knowledge in Cornerstone 8.6 is a huge plus! Phone skills Organizational skills The ability to multi-task with attention to detail Basic knowledge of animal behavior Basic animal interaction A desire to learn and grow with the ever-changing environment of a veterinary hospital Must be able to work mornings, evenings, and Saturdays.
