Lead Attended Donation Station AmbassadorSummary:Join our Family as a Lead Ambassador in one of our Attended Donation Stations (ADS). The ADS Lead Ambassador provides our donors with excellent service to help encourage repeat donations and an increased donor base through positive word of mouth. The ADS Lead Ambassador also supports and assists in the training of ADS Ambassadors.Job Responsibilities Include:* Promptly opens the ADS each assigned day and prepares site for that day’s business* Cheerfully greets donors upon their arrival* Assists donors by transferring their donations from their vehicle in to the ADS* Explains charity mission to donors, as requested* Weighs all donations by type and enters donor and product weight into Donation Log* Secures ADS at the end of the business day and calls the Area Manager to acknowledge closing of the site.* Assists ADS Area Manager with on the job training of new Ambassadors and follow up training with current Ambassadors* Assists collections driver unloading ADS while maintaining a priority on donor service* If trained and cleared Ambassadors may also be asked to physically drive our trucks* Communicates site needs, personnel needs and personnel commendations to the ADS Area Manager* Works within the assigned ADS Team to proactively plan for requested time off and unexpected absences* Serves as first responder to assist or fill in during peak donation periods or unfilled absencesRequired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:* Customer Service oriented with cheerful personality* Excellent verbal communication skills* Basic math skills* Attention to cleanliness, organization and detail* Able to lift 75 lbs repeatedly throughout the day* Honesty and integrity* Reliable transportation and commitment to attendance and punctuality* Willing and able to work weekend days as a regular part the position schedule* Capable of working independently with minimal supervision* Satisfactorily pass physical and background examsMinimum Required Education, Training and Experience:* High School degree or equivalent* Experience in customer service* Employment background demonstrating experience in working with minimal supervisionTools and Equipment Used:* Cell phone and / or laptop for data entry* Cell phone to communicate to supervisor* Scale to measure product weights* Material handling equipment (OK carts) for storing and loading product* Use all company supplied safety equipment as defined in the operating and safety manuals* DOT Box Truck4225 Rosewood Drive Pleasanton, CA 94588
