Customer Service Associate – Shipment Logistics

With Polar Speed and Marken included, the UPS Healthcare division staffs 128 locations with 5,500 employees worldwide.*Main Purpose: *The Customer Service Associate role is to provide an enhanced level of customer services and operational support when dealing with shipment specific and other service related issues.*Main Duties and Responsibilities: ** To monitor all inbound and outbound shipments on daily basis to ensure that shipments are delivered within agreed time* To advise customers on daily basis of any services related issues (Customs detentions, ETA flights/trucks)* Working with customers on daily basis with the aim of developing an excellent working* Analysis of repetitive operational problems and development of possible service* Advise customer latest booking times and documentation* Booking shipment with use of Marken booking* Liaise with all relevant departments within the Global and Domestic Marken network to ensure that all customer requirements are met* Working all Marken offices and Local Service Providers to ensure the Logistics transfer is handled efficiently, thus meeting desired turnaround times* Supporting other departments within Marken – Customer Relationship Management/Transport/Operations and Sales* Supplying customers with Marken Service information* Providing customer information to the Sales team*Required Skills and Qualifications: ** Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)* Courier or Freight Industry Experience desired* Understanding of Aviation/Airline Networks preferred* Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence others* Excellent problem solving and prioritization skills essential.* Flexibility in working hours required, to include weekend coverage when needed_Marken offers a state-of-the-art GMP-compliant depot network and logistic hubs for clinical drug product storage and distribution in 58 locations worldwide, while maintaining the leading position for Direct-to-Patient and Home Healthcare services, biological sample shipments and biological kit production.
