Overview

TMR is looking for a Computer Security Systems Specialist to support the Department of Transportation Administration (TSA), Office of Information Technology (IT), Technology Solutions Division (TSD).

TSD will be adding additional IT systems to support the TSA Pre ✓ ® expansion effort.

All systems are used to improve the security of our nation’s transportation systems by applying dynamic risk-based, intelligence driven vetting procedures and enhancing its use of technology.

This position is located in Annapolis Junction, MD.

Responsibilities

Provide Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) support services that involves Security Engineering and Security Compliance for TSA’s mission critical systems, including Secure Flight (SF), Screening Gateway (SG), Transportation Vetting System (TVS), Technology Infrastructure Modernization (TIM) System, and the Security Threat Assessment Mission Platform (STAMP) that will significantly improve security operation of our nation’s traveling public.

Qualifications

Required:

• Must have 15 years of experience.
• Computer Security Systems Specialists must possess a Batchelor’s Degree or higher and have an active Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) certification.
• US Citizen able to obtain/maintain Public Trust clearance

Preferred:

• The following certifications are preferred but not required: Linux+, Network+, CCNA, CAP, CEH, ESCA, and OSCP.
• The following experience is preferred, but not required: Security Development lifecycle management, DevSecOps, and CI/CD integration.
• The Specialist should have experience with a variety of Programming Languages including Java, PHP, C, .NET as well as experience with various Operating Systems including Windows, Linux and Unix.
